Derwent Guest House is
delightfully
situated on the Cliff top road of
Southbourne with views of the sea, Hengistbury Head and the Isle of
Wight.
All our rooms are fully en-suite,
colour television and complimentary
tea/coffee tray. A fridge is also available for cool drinks. A full
English or
Continental breakfast is served in our cosy dining room over looking
the
garden. There is also plenty of parking space available. Dogs welcome.
Take a stroll along the promenade,
past the golf course to the Hungry Hikers
cafe and follow either the nature trail or take the Noddy train to
Mudeford
Beach. Take a short ferry ride to Mudeford Quay, or take a ferry to
Christchurch Quay from Tuckton Bridge where a short stroll will take you
to Christchurch Priory and the town.
The New Forest being only 5 miles
away will enable you to get back to
nature, where you would enjoy bird watching, fishing, golf, horse
riding, pony
trekking and sailing.
Boscombe Pier and the Surf Reef is
only 1 mile away.
Bournemouth town is a mere 2 and a
half miles where you will find theatres,
cinemas, shops and many English and Continental restaurants.
There are local cliff top
restaurants, Cafe-Riva and
the Bistro on the beach
only a few minutes walk. Drink and dine while watching the waves coming
onto the beautiful sandy beach.
The area is also convenient for
local buses and trains.
